We helped pioneer Finland’s largest chain of location-based VR parks. The challenge was to transform immersive entertainment into a repeatable, scalable business—capable of serving thousands of customers per month in each venue.

We developed a robust infrastructure that supported real-time analytics, automated content deployment, and seamless customer experience management. Our team optimized both hardware and software environments to maximize session efficiency and minimize downtime.

The result was a nationwide footprint of VR entertainment centers, operated with high consistency and low overhead. Our innovations set a new standard for location-based VR in the Nordics, and provided a strong foundation for further product development—including what would later become Kiosk4VR.

We led the development of a cloud-based XR platform used by international clients to manage immersive content, devices, and user analytics across hundreds of locations.

We provided a complete backend solution for content licensing, automated billing, and remote system monitoring. This platform allowed a leading German entertainment chain—to centrally manage their experiences with minimal on-site staff.

Operating as a CTO and Scrum Master, we oversaw the product’s roadmap, guided agile delivery teams, and led technical integration with international clients. 

Kiosk4VR is a fully autonomous virtual reality solution designed for unattended environments such as malls, cinemas, museums, and leisure centers.

The system includes a self-service interface, session control, and integrated online payment via QR codes, enabling users to independently launch immersive VR experiences—without on-site staff. Features like automatic headset calibration, content selection, timed sessions, and real-time error handling are built in to ensure seamless operation.

While Kiosk4VR itself is not a product of Etjor Oy, the technical design, deployment architecture, and operational expertise behind it were developed by professionals who now form the core of Etjor Oy. This deep hands-on experience is now offered as a consulting and implementation service to organizations looking to launch autonomous or semi-autonomous XR solutions.

Kiosk4VR has already been successfully deployed across retail and entertainment locations in Europe.
